Mrs. Evelyn Louise Prince Dockery Abercrombie, age 85, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away April 29, 2015. Born in Polk County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Fred Taft and Ila Lear Hembree Prince. She had worked at Levi Strauss for a number of years and was a member of the Sunrise Tabernacle Church. Mrs. Abercrombie was also preceded in death by two husbands, Glover Abercrombie and Eddie Dockery; daughter, Oma Lee Gray; son, David Dockery; fours sisters and four brothers.Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-laws, Jerry and Charlotte Dockery of Blue Ridge, GA,Earl and Brenda Dockery of Cleveland, TN, and Shannon and Kerri Kinser of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughters and sons-in-laws, Carolyn and Elbert Rhodes and Earlene and Charles Mashburn all of Blue Ridge, GA and Joan Watkins McKee and husband Charles of Cherry Log, GA; brothers, Larry and wife Kim Prince of Blue Ridge, GA and Gary Prince of McCaysville, GA; brother-in-law, Buddy Gray of Blue Ridge, GA; thirty two grandchildren, fifty eight great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Merrell and Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiating. Music was provided by Barbara Miller. Interment follow in the Sunrise Tabernacle Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Randy, Jeff and Joe Dockery, Michael and Chris Merrell and Nathan Mashburn.
