The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Eunice Jones, age 77, of Copperhill, TN who passed away Friday, February 25, 2011. Mrs. Jones was born in Reliance, TN and was a daughter of the late Ellijah and Martha Merrell Rymer. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Postell and was retired from Levi's where she had worked as a seamstress. She was also preceded in death by her husband of forty nine years, Goldman Bradley Jones. She is survived by children, Ronnie (Deaver) Jones and Steve (Earlene) Jones all of Reliance, TN, Joan Pack of Isabella, TN, Chuck (Mary) Jones of Oakman, AL, Eric (Gina) Jones of McCaysville, GA; Sisters, Johnnie Lou Wilcoxon and Mamie Lou (T.L.) Dunn, both of Reliance, TN; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 26th at 8:00 P.M. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Glen Stiles, Rev. Bobby Green and Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Music will be by Joan Pack and Chuck Jones. Pallbearers include Greg Merrell, Bobby Nanny, Willard Wilcoxon, Johnny Dunn, Clifford Wilcox and Terry Satterfield. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow Sunday, February 27th at 2:00 P.M. from the Zion Hill cemetery.
