Mrs. Eula Mae Cross, age 80, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Cross was born in Fannin County, GA on June 3, 1929 to the late Jauel Roberson and Vienna Wise Roberson. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill (Hardscrabble Road) Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son Ralph Cecil Cross. She is survived by her husband, Wendall Cross of Mineral Bluff, GA; children and their spouses, Charles and Charlene Cross of Mineral Bluff, Randall Cross of Mineral Bluff, Winston and Gail Cross of Mineral Bluff, Benny and Gay Cross of Morganton, Henry Cross of Mineral Bluff, Bill and Hazel Cross of Mineral Bluff, Betty Jean and Reid Tarpley of Mineral Bluff, Jeanette Cross of Mineral Bluff, Ruby Cross of Epworth, and Delores Cross of Mineral Bluff; a brother, Waylon Roberson of Epworth; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, October 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Hill (Hardscrabble Road) Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Davis, Rev. Randy Hooper, and Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Music will be by Phillip Thomas. Pallbearers were Roy Conner, Butch Anderson, Windell Davis, Randall Davis, Zeke Henson, Bill Payne, and Jay Tolbert. Honorary pallbearers were Kyle Everett, Bobby Johnson, Jay Tolbert, Bobby Cobb, J.D. Long, and Kenneth Tarpley. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.
