Eugene Anderson age 74 of Marietta GA passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Kennestone Hospital. Mr. Anderson was born on January 21, 1942 in Fannin County to the late Earl and Berta Griggs Anderson. He was a retired new construction carpenter. Mr. Anderson was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Franklin and J.E. Anderson and sisters, Geneva Cody and Jeanette Carpenter.Survivors include his wife, Chris Anderson of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Eugene and Tara Anderson of Rockmart, GA; sisters, Alice Cody of Acworth, GA and Carol Jones of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Kirsten Anderson, Blake Pinkard, Brandon Pinkard, Brenton Pinkard, Brittany Anderson and Luke Anderson; great-grandchild, Jaiselynn Anderson also survives.Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Ensley and Rev. David Mashburn officiating. Music was by Randy and Ricky Beach. Pallbearers were James Mathis, George Ensley, Carson Jones, Kenny Anderson, Timmie Hembree and Donnie Mathis.
