Etta Gail Howard, age 70, of Copperhill passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at her home. Gail was born on March 6, 1953 in Copperhill to the late Claude and Marjorie Elrod. After working in a florist shop years ago, her passion and love for flowers continued. Gail was a devoted housewife with an unwavering love for her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Claudette and Ann.

Gail is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, William S. Howard; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Eric Lackey of Epworth, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Erica German of Etowah, TN, and Richard and Jennifer Howard of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Ava Lackey, Ella Lackey, Abraham German, and Hadley German; and brothers, Garry (Vicky) Elrod of Cleveland, TN, and Terry Elrod of Cleveland, TN.
