The Biereley-Hale Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Etoise Smith, age 73 of Turtletown, TN, who passed away Sunday afternoon, May 18, 2008 at Copper Basin Medical Center. She was a member of the Zion Hill Church in Turtletown, TN. Survivors include her husband, Charles Smith; sons, Leon Pate of Cohutta, GA, Dr. Richard Pate of Cleveland, TN and Charles Pate of Cleveland, TN; sister, Hattie Farner of Hendersonville, TX; brother, Charles Farner of Sauk Village, IL; step-daughter and husband, Amy and Lew Crawford of Copperhill, TN; step-sons, Charles Smith, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA, Jeff Smith of Turtletown, TN and Andy Smith of Chatsworth, GA; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.A private family graveside memorial service will be held at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
