The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Ethel Lee Cross, age 86, of Copperhill, who passed away Friday, February 8, at the Copper Basin Medical Center. Mrs. Cross was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a daughter of the late Ervin & Sarah Trantham Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Ora Cross & friend William Golden of Copperhill, TN, Earline & husband, Homer Anderson of Mineral Bluff, GA; two sisters Ora Mullins of Cleveland, TN, Elsie Bruce of Andrews, NC. Many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Bill Bryant officiating. Music will be by Scott Bryant. Pallbearers include Bill, Wade and Corey Anderson, Randall Spurling, Brandon Taylor and David Massengale. Interment will follow in the Macedonia "Wolf Creek" cemetery.
