Mrs. Emma Lou Bradburn, age 89, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Bradburn was born in Fannin County, GA on June 15, 1922 to the late Joseph Benjamin Pless and Emma Lous Fain Pless. She worked as an inspector of Van Raalte Hosiery Mill. She was a member of Cherry Log Baptist Church. Mrs. Bradburn was preceded in death by her huband Charlie William Bradburn. She is survived by seven sons, Charles Bradburn of Blue Ridge, David Bradburn of Resaca, GA, Roy Bradburn of Blue Ridge, Ronald Bradburn of Blue Ridge, James Bradburn of Epworth, Jerry Bradburn of Blue Ridge, and Larry Bradburn of Blue Ridge; two daughters, Monita Davenport of New Port Beach, CA, and Margie Hampton of Resaca, GA; 23 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Brent Chatham officiating. The following grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Steve Bradburn, Brian Bradburn, Shannon Bradburn, Adam Bradburn, Dylan Bradburn, Britt Bradburn, Brandon Bradburn, Scott Bradburn, Chris Bradburn, Jeremy Bradburn, Sean Bradburn, Jason Bradburn, and Kevin Davenport. Interment will follow in Cherry Log Baptist Church Cemetery.
