Mr. Elmer Ernest Couch, age 91, of Morganton, GA, passed away October 16, 2016 in the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late Frank and Maggie Garren Couch. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a Welder for many years in the oil refinery industry. Mr. Couch was of the Baptist Faith. His siblings, Eddie C. Burnette, Ralph and Fred O. Couch also precedes him death.Survivors include his wife Nhan Couch; son, Kelvin Couch of Cleveland, TN; daughters, Sandy Futral and Sybil Couch both of Kennesaw, GA; grand daughter, Marrisa Couch of Cleveland, TN; one brother, Dennis Couch of Powder Springs, GA; and one sister, Eathlene Postell.Graveside Services were conducted on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
