Ellen Ellean "Nene" Witherow, age 49, of Turtletown, TN passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Ellen was of the Baptist Faith. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Cleo Mealer, sister, Carolee Mealer, Nephew Daniel Mealer and Niece Kaylee Mealer.She is survived by sons, Devin (Casey) Witherow, Elijah Witherow and Jeremy Berggren; Mother, Shirley Mealer; brothers, Eugene (Cynthia) Mealer, Jennis (Denise) Mealer; sister, Jeanette (Keith) Jordan; grandchildren, Tydus Witherow, Tommie Witherow, Myla Witherow, Hailey Witherow, Cameron Hawkins and Cason Hawkins. Nephews and nieces, Chris Mealer, Aaron Mealer, Kade Jordan, Daniel Mealer, Jensen Mealer and Jeremy York.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 21st at 2:00 PM from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Deal and Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Music will be by the Deal Family. Interment will follow in the Bethel cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Devin Witherow, Chris Mealer, Aaron Mealer, Kade Jordan, Ben Bare, and Jeremy Berggren.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 P.M.
