Mrs. Ellaine Audrey Ward, age 89, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 in the Heritage HealthCare Center in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Ward was born in Fannin County, GA on August 8, 1923 to the late Jacob Weaver and Etta Thomas Weaver. She worked at Van Raalte and was a member of O'Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her huband, Roy "Sunny" Ward; and a son Frank Ward. She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Ward Davenport of Blue Ridge; grandson, Justin Davenport; nephew, Ted Weaver; and niece, Linda Mullinax. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Michael Pope officiating. Music will be by Imogene Stewart. Pallbearers will be Ted Weaver, Hubert Stewart, Lynn Merrell, James Bearden, Joey Bearden, and Pete Jones. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
