Mrs. Ella E. Cook, age 82, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in the LifeCare Center in Ducktown, TN. Born in Fannin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Allen Darrell Lewis and Sarah Hawkins Lewis. She worked as a belt looper for Levi Stauss and was a member of Mobile Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Luther A. Cook of Blue Ridge; son, William Cook of Chattanooga, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Bill Parr of Sugar Creek Road, Blue Ridge and Peggy and Terry Wilson of Morganton, GA; brothers, Kenny Lewis of Pickens, SC, Allen Lewis of Cherokee Hills, TN, and Roscoe Lewis of Ducktown, TN; sisters, Katherine Harper of Mineral Bluff, GA, and Peggy Harper of Pickens, SC; two granddaughters, two great grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Paul Adams and Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Music was by Calla Mae Miller. The following nephews served as pallbearers: Dale Cook, Terry Cook, Warren Cook, Glen Lewis, Wayne Harper, and Sam Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Isiah Patterson, Justin Patterson, and the employees of LifeCare Center. Interment followed in Copper Ridge Memory Garden.
