Elene Mae Postell Green, age 88 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. She was born on December 4, 1937, in Higdon, GA to the late Everett Postell and Lillian Davenport Postell. Elene worked for over twenty years at Fannin County Bank as a teller and branch manager. She was a devoted Christian and attended Calvary Chapel. Elene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Lee Green; and sister, Wanda Sue Postell.

Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Patsy Green of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Meleia and Jim Ramseu of Chapin, SC; grandchildren, Andrew Lee Green, James Zachary Green, Kira Ramseur, and Jefferson Ramseur; great-grandchildren, Elijah Lee Green and James Anthony Green; and sister, Patricia Newman of Enterprise, MS.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Daniel Postell officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
