The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mr. Edward Junior Morris, age 71, of Blue Ridge, Ga., who died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Morris was a self employed carpenter and was a member of the McCaysville Church of God. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Morris of the home; four daughters, Metzi Morris of Hiawassee, Ga., Tracy (Morris) McKinney of Richmond, Ky., Susan (Morris) Rieder and husband Carl of Smyrna, Tenn., and Lisa Morris of Coral Springs, Fla., one brother, Leon Morris of Williston, Fla., eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 25, at 12 noon from the Akins Funeral Home chapel with, Pastor Jim Waldron officiating.
