The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mr. Edward Jon Ipe, age 25, of Epworth, GA who passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Ipe was born on June 21, 1986 in Sarasota, FL. He was a member of the McCaysville Church of Christ. He is survived by his parents, Brian Ipe and Lynda Lue Bowie Ipe of Sarasota, FL; and a brother, Jon Ross Ipe of Sarasota. Memorial services were conducted Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the McCaysville Church of Christ with Min. Bill Johnston and Min. Keith Ritchie officiating. Memorial services in Sarasota, FL will be conducted Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. from the Southtrail Church of Christ with Min. Terry Chapmen officiating.
