Mrs. Edna Doris Boykin, age 76, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008 at her home. Born in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Stevenson and Alice Taylor Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her husband Darael G. Boykin. She is survived by four sons, Johnny Boykin, Dareal Boykin, and Eugene Boykin, all of Blue Ridge and Donald Boykin; daughters, Marie Boykin and Rosemary Boykin; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service was conducted Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. from the New Ground Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating.
