Mrs. Edith Lillian Callahan, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Callahan was born in Hodoken, NJ on March 25, 1929. She was of the Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Edward Callahan of Blue Ridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Ruth Callahan of Blue Ridge and Brian and Nancy Callahan of Lakeworth, FL; sister, Margaret McGee of Matawon, NJ; grandson, Michael Curan and great grandson Thomas Callahan. No services are planned at this time. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements. .
