Mr. Edgar Franklin (Frank) Falls, age 88 of Morganton, GA passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville, GA. He was born on August 4, 1924 in Lynch, KY to the late Edgar Everett and Zola Alice Nichols Falls. Mr. Falls was self employed in real estate. He was a member of Wilscott Baptist Church and was a member of Ocoee Lodge #201 F&AM for over fifty years. Mr. Falls served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Waldo Falls. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Butch Maner of Morganton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Maxine Falls of Maryville, TN and Bill and Johanna Falls of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Ruth Daves of Morganton, GA, Suella Harcrow of Calhoun, GA, Betty Brakebill of Cleveland, TN, Louise and husband, Fritz Roberts of Davie, FL and Linda Hunnicut of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan and wife, Vicki Maner and Daniel Maner and great-grandchildren, Autumn and Hailey Maner also survive. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. Music was by Lori Clayton. Pallbearers weree Bill Prather, Tom Elrod, Drew Clayton, Scott Cruse, Wayne Allen Cruse and Clyde Cruse. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park with Masonic rites by the Ocoee Lodge #201 F&AM.
