Earnest Raymond Cook, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009, at his home. Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Paul Calvin and Grace Carrol Cook. Mr. Cook was retired from Southern Bell having worked for 40 years. He was also a Korean War veteran serving in the Army Signal Corps and an avid Race Fan.He is survived by his wife Luisa (Montesino) Cook of the home; four sons, Earnest Raymond Cook of Green Cove Springs, FL, Roy Calvin Cook of Bartonville, TX, Rodney Allen Cook of Miami, FL, Rafael Cook of Blue Ridge, GA, one brother, Ronald Cook of Greenwood, SC, and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.Funeral service will be at Akins Chapel at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2009, with Min.
