Earl Buren Lowe's Obituary
Mr. Earl Buren Lowe, age 71, of Blue Ridge passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 at his home. Born in Union County, he was the son of the late Buren Lowe and Rosie Davis Lowe. He was an employee of Johnny's Food City in Blue Ridge for 20 years. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a son, Billy Eugene Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Alene B. Lowe of Blue Ridge; sister, Ruth Bradburn of Blue Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Phillip Thomas officiating. Music was by Jessie and Lena Hill. Pallbearers were Ricky Bradburn, Johnny Silvers, Leon Davenport, Hank Davenport, Chris Bradburn, and Jeremy Bradburn. Former employees of Johnny's Food City served as honorary escort. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park.
Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
