Drema Kaye Simpkins

Drema Kaye Simpkins, age 73, of Marietta, GA, passed away of Friday, November 6, 2026. She was born on February 13, 1953 in McDowell County, WV, to the late Donald and Helen Riffe.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Mark) Morrall; her beloved granddaughters Grace Morrall, Anna Jane Morrall, and Lila Morrall; brothers Donald Joe Riffe (Anne) and William Bowman; beloved longtime partner Cos Sciarrone and his children Chris (Anne) Sciarrone, Jon Sciarrone, Amy Ridge (Jeff), and Cos' grandchildren Haley, Emily, Joseph, Alex, and Ava.

Drema was a loving mother, grandmother, partner, and cherished friend who treasured the time she spent with family and friends. She especially enjoyed making memories with her granddaughters, often traveling to their college campuses to treat them to lunch and enjoy an afternoon together or hosting them for spa weekends at her cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. These special outings were her way of showing her love and creating memories they will carry with them for a lifetime. She also enjoyed spending time with Cos' grandchildren, whom she loved hosting for sleepovers when they were younger. Drema found great joy in the beauty of the outdoors of Blue Ridge, GA where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with Cos throughout the world to discover new destinations on their bucket list.

Drema began her career as a dental assistant, later becoming a dental hygienist before embarking on a successful career in dental sales for Henry Schein Dental Supplies. Throughout her career she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues through her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. She took great pride in her work and instilled those same values in her daughter and granddaughters. She was loved dearly by family and friends alike and will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 12 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel, with Father John Conway officiating. Interment will be held privately at Chastain Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday from 11 AM until the service hour.
