Doyle Henry Rabun, age 67, of Farner, TN passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Mission Hospital in Ashville, NC following a massive stroke. Mr. Rabun was born in Whitfield County, GA to the late William and Sadie Cross Rabun. He was retired as a machinist in the Textile Industry. He was preceded in death by son, Doyle Rabun, Jr.He is survived by his wife, Lula Rabun of the home; two daughters, Evelyn Brady of Murphy, NC, Victoria Dixon of Farner, TN; brother, Earl Raburn of McCaysville, GA; sisters, Margaret Jane Deal of Dalton, GA, Dorothy Stiles of Benton, TN; grandchildren, Brian Dixon, Robert Dixon, Curtis Dixon, Faith Dixon, Clarence Dixon, Jr., Darren Pressley and Jeremy Pressley. Great-Grandchildren, Houston Dixon, Marcus Dixon, Clarence Dixon, Savannah Pressley, Michael Pressley, Gave Dixon, Serenity Pressley, Logan Pressley, Step-Great Grandchildren, Brittany Hei, Haley Hei, Tyler Hei and Triston Hei. Many other relatives and friends.A graveside service was conducted Sunday, August 31st at 3:00 p.m. from the Mt. Olivet cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia with Rev. Bernie Dixon officiating.
