Dorothy Mae Stiles, age 94, of Epworth passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, in Blairsville.

She was born on September 13, 1931, in Blue Ridge to the late Lon Sluder and Dora Ash Sluder. Dorothy was a member of Salem #2 Baptist Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Riley Stiles, and two brothers, Willard Sluder and Arthur Sluder.

She is survived by her son, William Stiles; two grandchildren, Taren Stiles, and Ryan Cothran; two great-grandchildren, Grayson Cothran and Payton Cothran; special friend, Diane Reece; a host of nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Brett Curtis, Rev. Dr. Chan Mitchell, and Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Music will be the A.C. Caylor Family. Interment will follow in the Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Deacons and Trustees of Salem #2 Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the Akins-Cobb Funeral & Cremations of Blue Ridge on Sunday evening, March 22, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
