Mrs. Dorothy Mildred Panter Green, affectionately known to family and friends as "Granny", age 78, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on August 28, 2013. She was a member of the Pantertown Baptist Church. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her mother, Tobitha Panter. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by great granddaughter Jamie Fisher.Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mike Chastain of Mineral Bluff, GA; grandson, Chad Fisher and his wife Amelia; great grandchild, Connor Fisher; and several cousins and many friends.Funeral Services were conducted Friday, August 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salem #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Music was provided by The Caylor Family. Pallbearers were Josh Thomas, Jeremy Smith, Johnny Hughes, Dwayne Walden, Van Walden, and Derrick Walden.
