Doris Jane Barrett, age 58, of McCaysville, GA, passed awayFriday, November 16, 2018. Mrs. Barrett was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Albert and Viola Grant. She had worked at Saw Nursery and also in Forestry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Barney Allen Barrett; siblings Joseph Wayne Bradford, Carolyn Ann Bradford, Clifton Bradford, Bobby R. Bradford and Buddy Lee Bradford. She is survived by son, David Bradford of Copperhill, TN; adopted daughters, Angie Ratley and Dora Ratley, both of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, David Lee Bradford of McCaysville, GA, Kenneth John Bradford of Copperhill, TN, Adopted son, Gary Buford; grandchild, Vandin Couch along with one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Brad Hyatt officiating. Mrs. Barrett wishes were to be cremated.
