Dora Mae Womble Hayes, age 67, of Turtletown, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born in Farner, to the late Felmond Womble and Vera Sue Womble. She attended Farner Church of God. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Robert Womble, Christy Goins, and Glenda Womble. Dora Mae is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul David Hayes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frankie and Patti Womble, Johnny and Rita Womble; brother-in-law, John Goins; sister-in-law, Donna Duckworth; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Rev. Guinn Green officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Guinn and Anita Green. Interment will follow in the Turtletown Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derek Allen, Seth Allen, Ricky Bell, Wade Dunn, Lee Garrett, and Larry Farner.
