He worked as a service technician for Appalachian Water, Inc. and was a member of Salem #2 Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Olivia Dills Pickens of Blue Ridge; a daughter Breanna Pickens of Blue Ridge; mother, Melody Ann Jones of Hillsboro, GA; and a brother, Lee Pickens of Hillsboro, GA.A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Salem #2 Baptist Church with Rev.
