Mr. Donny Gene Kinman, age 66, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at his home. Mr. Kinman was born on August 13, 1946 in Atlanta, GA to the late Henry Eugene Kinman and Ruth Blanche Conner Kinman. He was a card operator for Shaw Industries. Mr. Kinman loved to hunt at fish and served in the United States Navy for four years. He was survived by his wife of 43 years, Juanita Kinman of Blue Ridge; children and spouses, David and Tammy Kinman of Blue Ridge, Daniel Kinman of Morganton, GA, Mary and Scott Mealer of Morganton, and Michael Kinman of Blue Ridge; uncles, Dan Conner of Morganton; grandchildren, Tiffany DeGreef, James Kinman, Matthew Kinman, Preston Kinman, Kaytlyn Mealer, Skylar Kinman, and Jordan Kinman. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Follow officiating. Music will be by Grady Ray. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday for 10:00 a.m. until the service hour. Donations in memory of Mr. Kinman may be made to a local D.A.V. Chapter.
