Dolores Ann Campbell, age 82, passed away June 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents- Ross and Gladys Queen, husband- Zack Campbell, and brother-Randall Queen.

She is survived by two daughters, Shannon (Mike) Fleeman and Heidi (Frank) Rule, and one granddaughter Emily (Michael) Cannaverde. She is also survived by two sisters Barbara (Leo) Davis, Jannes (Ricky Joe) Taylor, sister-in-law-Teresa Queen, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Dolores was of the Baptist faith and grew up on a farm bordering Old Dial Road and Padena Road in Morganton, GA. She was a graduate of East Fannin High School in Morganton, and upon her marriage resided near or on the same property until moving to Stonehenge Senior Living for the last three years of her life.

In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing, shopping, canning/preserving homegrown vegetables, tending to her flowers, cooking, reading ladies' magazines and watching westerns and movies on television.

She was always busy with her interests until age- related illnesses prevented her from being as active as she would have preferred.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held on July 3rd, 2023 at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, and interment will be held in the Concord Baptist Church cemetery in Morganton, Georgia. The memorial service will be led by Chaplain Greg Bailey; Brian Huffman will provide the music.
