Mrs. Dolores Mary Addington of Morganton, GA passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Addington was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Robert Dorson Woody and Lucille Ruth Rogers Woody. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Addington. She is survived by two daughters, Laura Lucille Addington of Morganton, GA and April McHan of Morganton, GA; brother, Robert Dorson Woody, Jr. of Acworth, GA; sisters, Gloria C. Horton of Morganton and Ann Bramlett of Suches, GA; three grandchildren, Wendy Lou Long, Gregory McHan and Ragan McHan; and one great grandchild, Waylon Arrowood. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Keith Jones officiating. Pallbearers were Delos Horton, Chase McHan, William Chancey, Doug Tipton, Noah Simms, and D.J. Carter. Honorary pallbearers were Orvin Lance and Harold Parker.
