Myron Richard "Dick" Loffer, age 81, of Blue Ridge passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Dick was born on June 30, 1936 in De Graff, Ohio to the late Myron and Katherine Loffer. He was a very well known gun salesman for various companies and was loved by all that knew him. He enjoyed entertaining, telling jokes, hunting, and traveling. He was most seen checking on the boy's at Mr. Fixit's garage, where he would go multiple times a day. He was a member of McCay Lodge #423 F&AM. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Delores. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Carolyn Loffer of the home; daughters, Renee Dalton and Penny Cummiskey both of Findley, Ohio; step-children, Teresa Mikolajewski of Tuscon, AZ and Richard, Michael, and Dwight Sneed all of Indiana. He leaves behind several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, a niece, Kay Peterson of Ashville, NC and many other friends and family.A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge.
