Mr. Dennis Rose, age 66, of Turtletown, TN passed away on October 6, 2017. Born in Cherokee County, NC, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Mary Dockery Rose. He was a plant operator for many years for the Tennessee Chemical Company and was a jack of many other trades. He was also preceded in death by his step mother, Joyce Rose; brother, Steven Russell Rose and one sister, Patricia Williams. Survivors include his wife of forty four years, Louellen Rose; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jill Rose, and Johnny and Brittney Gobble; grandchildren, Donovan Rose, Alexandra Gobble, Brooklyn Gobble and Rykerr Obadiah Gobble; brothers, Curtis (Brenda) Taylor, Anthony Rose; sisters, Betty Rose, Karen (Ken) Hyatt, Hope (Stephen)Douglas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Doug and Marsha Gobble, John and Marty Fowler and Mike and Maria Mull.Graveside services were conducted on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from Garrett's Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Pallbearers were Chris Mull, Floyd Davis, Mike Hamby, Derrick Cearley, Travis McCollum, Dakota Dillard and Duke Hamby. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Snack in a Back Pack organization for the Copper Basin School Systems.
