Dennis Lynn Cardin, age 56, of Woodstock, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Cardin was born on June 24, 1962 in Atlanta, GA. He worked as a plumber and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Cardin was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Ann Morrow Coker. He is survived by a son, James Posey of Charleston, SC; father and stepmother, Dean and Marie Cardin of Woodstock, GA; brother, Daniel Cardin of Woodstock; stepbrother, Robert Blalock of Woodstock; sister and brother-in-law, Dedra and Todd Erwin of Matthews, NC. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Tim Taylor and Rev. Pete Martin officiating. Eulogy was by Dan Cardin.
