Dennis M. Burger, age 79, of Benton, TN passed away May 23, 2026 in Cookeville, TN. Dennis was born in Polk County, TN on August 26, 1946. He was the son of the late Herman and Ethel Rhodes Burger.

Along with his parents, he is preceded by his beloved wife, Lurena Dale Burger; step-children, June Hicks, Alice Phillips, Kenneth Burger, and Larry Burger; brothers, Heman L. "Junior" Burger, Jr. and James A. Burger; and sisters, Linda S. Burger and Lillian E. Burger.

He is survived by his step-children, Ronald Burger, Bobby Burger, Anthony Burger, William Burger, Jan Rayburn, Carol Waters, and Tammy Branham.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Copperhill, TN with the Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Eulogies and personal remarks will be given by family.
