Dennie Eugene Grogan, age 78, of Mineral Bluff passed away on Sunday, August 22,2021 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Grogan was born on April 28, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to the late George Patrick Grogan and Mary Geraldine Woelk Grogan. He worked as the owner and operator of ETC Metal Fabrication. Mr. Grogan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George "Pat" Grogan; and sister, Roxie Devan Grogan. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lucie Grogan of the home; daughters, Gina Grogan of Blairsville, GA, Alicia Grogan of McCaysville, GA, Diane Grogan of McCaysville, GA, and Tina Grogan of Tennessee; sister, Shirley Sanders of Madison, TN; and five grandchildren, Savannah Forrest, Ethan Forrest, Cyrus Bell, Nevaeh Forrest, and Trinity Bell. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Music will be provided by April Jones. Interment will follow in the Salem #2 Baptist Church cemetery.
