Denise Kyle Strain, age 59, of Copperhill, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born in Detroit, MI to the late Raymond Strain and Frances Kilburn Strain. She attended Mine City Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Sisco. She is survived by her children, Jessica Borts of Farner and Michael Borts of Morganton; grandchildren, Ava Borts, Ryder Borts, and Andy Borts; one sister, Vicki Sisco; nieces, Chrystal Blackburn and Michelle Blackburn; and numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hot House Baptist Church with Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the church cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Michael Borts, Aaron Green, and Austin Norton.
