Dempsey Clinton Cook, age 63, of Turtletown, TN passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Salisbury, NC. He was born on October 17, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Emmett Taft Cook, Sr. and the late Lillie Mae Suit Cook. He appreciated being in the outdoors and in his younger years enjoyed fishing and hunting. When he was able, he attended Maple Grove Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Dempsey is preceded in death by his siblings: Doris Dean, Robert Cook, Jimmy Cook, Johnny Cook, Lynda Ann Phillips, Larry Cook, and Emmett Cook, Jr. He is survived by his son, Timothy Dempsey Cook; a daughter, Renee Michelle Wyatt; siblings, William Howard(Nancy) Cook of Jacksonville, FL, Dennis (Annette) Cook of Blue Ridge, Gale (Kenneth) Cook Sitton of Chatsworth, and Jewel (late Jim) Cook Deal Epworth; grandchildren, Amber Wyatt, Brian Meadows, and Lexie Cook; two sisters-in-law, Janell Cook and Pat Cook; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
