Deloris Ann Runion, age 52, of Ducktown was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born in Copperhill, TN on March 10, 1970 to Naymon and Frances Montgomery Stiles of Murphy, NC. Deloris graduated from Hiwassee Dam High School in 1989, and she worked many years for Napa Auto Parts in Copperhill, TN. She had an outgoing personality and enjoyed being with family and friends. This led to her love of family card games, and hosting 4th of July gatherings. Deloris is preceded in death by her father Naymon Stiles; father-in-law, Charlie Runion; mother-in-law, Gladys Runion; infant nephew, Jonathan Rymer; and infant great niece, Kali Stiles. She is survived by her husband, Harold Runion, and daughter, Denise Runion both of the home; mother, Frances Montgomery Stiles; sister, Maria (David) Rymer; brothers, Johnny (Cherie) Stiles, Wayne (Frances) Stiles, Michael Stiles, Roger (Joy) Stiles, Ronald (Kristie) Stiles, and Donald (Jennifer) Stiles; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Ware and Rev. Donald Padgett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, David Cook, Damon Phillips, Ronald Stiles, Donald Stiles, Brandon Stiles, and David Rymer. Honorary pallbearers will be Malachi Kemper and all of Deloris' nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5:00 till 9:00.
