Delores Rose Cross, age 55, of Mineral Bluff passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on September 16, 1966 in Copperhill to the late Wendell Garfield Cross and Eula Mae Roberson Cross. Delores worked for Snap-On, Inc. as a master machinist. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Hardscrabble Road, Mineral Bluff. Delores enjoyed woodworking and building different things. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mary Lou Dillard (LeRoy), Ruby Ann Cross, Winston Harold Cross, Ralph Cecil Cross and Betty Jean Tarpley. Survivors are siblings, Jeanette Cross, Charles Ray Cross (Charlene), Randall Garfield Cross, Benny Joe Cross (Gay), Henry Lee Cross and Bill Jeffrey Cross (Hazel); nieces; nephews; other extended family members and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Garren and Rev. Doyle Davis officiating. Music will be by Ed Vest. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Hardscrabble Road, Mineral Bluff. Pallbearers will be Zeke Henson, J.D. Long, Sir John Davis, Jay Tolbert, Bobby Johnson and Logan Davis.
