Mrs. Deborah Louise Tanner Vaughn, age 60, of Hazel Green, AL passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 in the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. She was born in Alpina, Michigan on November 11, 1954. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Lee Tanner and her husband Gerald Allen Vaughn. She is survived by her mother, Esther Huff of Eustis, FL; brothers, Dale Lee Tanner of Lawrenceville, GA, Richard Allen Tanner of Pamplico, SC, and Jerry Wade Richards of Conyers, GA; and sisters, Karen Richards Hensley of Hephzibah, GA and Jean Tanner Bruce of Gainesville, GA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Euel Reece officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park with full military honors by North Georgia Honor Guard. The family will meet with friends Saturday form 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
