Deborah Kay Smith, age 69, of Farner passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at her home. Deborah was born on August 14, 1952 in McCaysville to the late Hoyt Ray Smith and Mary Louise Lynn Smith. She was of Christian faith attending Turtletown Church of God Prophecy. Deborah enjoyed watching her shows on TV and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved being around kids. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Smith. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Cochran of Copperhill, Charlotte and Hank Morrow of Turtletown, Sandra and Darrell Clark of Cohutta, GA, and Vickie and Lee Garrett of Farner; as well as, many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Turtletown Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery with Rev. Sam Morrow officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be James Cochran, Matthew Morrow, Brett Sims, Steven Ledford, Brady Silvers, and Shannon Smith.
