Deborah Lee Galloway, age 70, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born on July 21, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Kenneth Johnson and Bertha Lee Cathy Johnson. Debbie worked for many years as a branch manager for Southern Federal Credit Union. She was known for her great laugh and willingness to always be there for her family and friends when they needed her. She loved her husband with all her heart and enjoyed retiring to their mountain cabin. She enjoyed feeding the deer and turkeys and spoiled her two Yorkies, Fergie and Tinkerbell. Debbie made friends everywhere she went.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, James Galloway; son, John Morgan IV (Becky) of Kissimmee, FL; brothers, Mike Johnson (Carol) of McDonough, GA and Mark Johnson (Deborah) of Jennings, FL; grandchildren, John Morgan V and Mindy Morgan; and closest friend, Melissa Lowe, and old family friend, Sue Norton.

A celebration of Debbie's life will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 5:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Condolences may be left online for the families at www.akinscobb.com.
