Deborah "Debbie" W. BryantMay 4, 1957 - August 8, 2007Deborah "Debbie" W. Bryant, age 50, of Mineral Bluff passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in the Fannin Regional Hospital. She was born in Charlotte, NC and had lived in Mineral Bluff for the past 15 years. She was retired from the Towns County Department of Family and Children's Services. Mrs. Bryant served her Lord Jesus Christ at Harbor Ministries in McCaysville, GA. She served as servant leader for missions and sang glory to her Lord in the Harbor Choir, and always worked in the food pantry that served numerous communities. She served as assistant treasurer and tried to help anyone that came to Harbor for help. She served on many mission trips in the United States and overseas.
She was married to her only husband Bob Bryant for 34 years; she was a loving mother to Dana Hayes of Mineral Bluff and Robert Charles Bryant of Mineral Bluff; she was a loving and caring Grandmother to Austin and Tucker Hayes and Savannah Bryant; she loved her son-in-law Chuck Hayes of Mineral Bluff and always considered him her son; she is also survived by her mother, Ida Marie Dunn, brothers, Bobby Waldrop, Kevin Waldrop, and the late Gene A. Waldrop and her Stepdad Dee Dunn, all of the surrounding area of Belmont, NC. Mrs. Bryant was a humble and dedicated servant to her Lord, always thinking and putting everyone else before herself. Also surviving are a host of her family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Harbor Ministries with Rev. Denise Caldwell officiating. Music was by the church choir. Pallbearers were Charles Phillips, Chuck Hayes, Mike Bryant, Danny Caldwell, Bob Qualls, and Grady Bryson. Interment followed in Crestlawn Cemetery.
Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
