David Lee Roberson, age 54, of Epworth passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at home. He was born on September 21, 1966, in Copperhill. David was a talented carpenter. He loved hunting and fishing. David was preceded in death by his mother, Dana Marie Ledford Roberson; father, James Clyde Roberson and son, Christopher "Ryan" Roberson. He is survived by his children, Amanda Roberson Patterson (Joe) of Blairsville, James Cody Roberson of Blue Ridge and Christy Winkler Roberson of McCaysville; seven beautiful grandchildren; sister, Tina Roberson of Epworth; niece, Lindsy Walden; nephew, Landen Walker; aunt and uncle, Rev. Sammy Ledford (Deanne) of Blue Ridge, and cousins, Sammy Ledford, Jr. of Mineral Bluff, Kim Butts (William) of Blue Ridge and Terri Ledford of Blue Ridge also survive. The family will host a memorial service at the Toccoa River Pavilion (181 E. Market St. McCaysville, GA 30555) on Thursday, September, 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help defray final expenses.
