Mr. David Stanton Postelle, age 73, of Turtletown, TN, passed away on January 16, 2018 at his home. Born in Mineral Bluff, GA, he was the son of the late William Arthur and Mary Odessa Panter Postell. His wife, Patricia Gail White Postelle also precedes in death.His survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Fred David and Lisa Postelle of Cleveland, TN; daughters and sons-in-laws, Daphne and Harold Holden and Sharon and Bruce Tucker all of Turtletown, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Doyle Petty of Mineral Bluff, GA; four grandchildren, Brandon and Crystal Postell and Manda Ginn and Whitney Taylor; 4 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Carsyn Postelle, Breylin Tucker and Bella Taylor; nieces and nephews, Teresa and Chuck Brehm, Nelson and Althea Pickelsimer, Marvin and Regina Pickelsimer, Darvin and Sherry Pickelsimer, Gary and Selean Newsome, Staci Newsome, Derrick and Denton Petty, Quinton and Debbie Pickelsimer, Anita and Joe Halstead, Lisa Stahl and Michael Stahl. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge with Rev. Danny Queen officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Irvin Melton, Darvin Pickelsimer, Bruce Tucker, Scott White, Brian Taylor, Ken Baine and Teddy Stiles.
