Mr. David Daniel Deal, age 76, of Turtletown, TN passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at his home. Mr.Deal was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Bunyon Harley and Blanche Cole Deal. He was retired from the Tennessee Copper Company where he had worked as a miner for thirty years. He was preceded in death by siblings, Harley Deal, Jr, Doug Deal, Josephine Collins and Harlestine Deal.He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Florence Spurling Deal of the home; Children, Ricky David Deal of Turtletown, TN, Sandy (Bruce) Brenizer of Atlanta, GA, Treva (Brad) Hyatt of Turtletown, TN, Jill (Billy) Nix of Turtletown, TN, Stacey (Derrick) Payne of Copperhill, TN; brother, Clint "Brackett" Deal, Sr of Turtletown, TN; Ten grandchildren, Andrew Hyatt, Amanda Hyatt, Adam Hyatt, Zachary Payne, Eli Payne, Isabelle Payne, Brooke Brenizer, Emily Brenizer, Jud Nix and Lauren Patterson; seven great-grandchildren, Addison Hyatt, Alexis Hyatt, Kinsley Ross, Hayden Hughes, Alessa Patterson, Delaney Patterson and Jasper Mealer. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Pallbearers will be Bruce Brenizer, Brad Hyatt, Billy Nix, Derrick Payne, Andrew Hyatt, Adam Hyatt, Zachary Payne, Eli Payne and Jud Nix. Interment will follow in the Turtletown Baptist Church Cemetery.
