Mr. Ralph Daniel "Danny" Raper, age 57, of Farner, TN passed away on April 9, 2021 at his home. He was born in Copperhill, TN, to the late Ralph William and Nancy Rose Womble Raper. Danny had worked as an Iron worker for a number of years. He was of the Baptist faith and a proud member of the National Rifle Association. Danny loved his home place, spending time with his family and enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Ann Raper, of the home; children and their spouses, Kristin Lachele and Jesse Soto of Copperhill, TN, Danielle Hope Masters, Matthew Howard Graves Raper and Jessie of Geneva, OH, Destiny Kaitlynn Tatum of Chattanooga, TN, Dristin Earl Raper of Turtletown, TN, Tristin Hayden Raper and Kiera Faith Raper both of the home; brother, Samuel Hayden Raper of Atlanta, GA; sister, Cynthia L. Trantham of Copperhill, TN; grandchildren, Miguel Justin Valdez, Daniel Zacharias Soto, Krus Israel Soto, Tatum Lachele Raper, Cheyenne Masters, Joni Dale Masters, Mason Raper, Alyssa Claire Raper, Josie Mae Raper and Maggie Faith Raper; and one niece, Michelle "Missy" Whitener. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Akens officiating. Music was by Janice Reid. Interment followed in the Raper Family Home Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Matthew Raper, Travis Brendle, Josh Brown, Jesse Soto, Austin "Buddy" Whitener, Dristin Raper, Tristin Raper and Greg Worthy.
