Danny Ray O'Neal age 65 of Copperhill passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026. He was born on December 4, 1960, in Copperhill to the late Earl Clint O'Neal and Imogene Juanita Hicks O'Neal. Danny owned and operated a Red Iron Building Company. He loved the Lord, visiting churches and attended Mt. View Baptist Church. Danny was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed gardening, and took great pleasure in a great western. Danny loved his family and especially his grandchildren.

Survivors are daughter and son-in-law, Lacy Bramlett (Mason); daughter, Danyelle O'Neal; grandchildren, Cohutta Brown and Lottie June Bramlett; sister and brother-in-law, Earlene Jones (Steve); companion, Eloise Newton; aunts, Christine Roble, Iva Sue Caudill; niece, Stepanie Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Craig O'Neal officiating. Music will be by Juanette Callihan, Doris Housley, Kenny O'Neal, Joseph and Natalie O'Neal. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Tumbling Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cohutta Brown, Mason Bramlett, Steve O'Neal, Joseph O'Neal, Marty Deal, and Isaac Deal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Payne, Junior Deal, Chris Newton, and Carlton Deal. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
