Mr. Daniel "Kevin" Nicholson, age 68, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on March 19, 2024. He was born on December 21, 1955 in Copperhill, TN to the late Kenneth Lee and Reba Irene Ralston Nicholson. Kevin owned and operated North Georgia Drywall for a number of years. Kevin enjoyed the great outdoors through both hunting and fishing. He loved to play with his grandchildren, gardening, and cooking. His favorite vacation spots were the mountains and the beach. He also enjoyed boxing and was a member of the Non-Denominational Church of God. His faith in God extended to his children by reading to them daily about stories of the bible. Kevin was known for his great story telling abilities and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Nicholson; and brother-in-law, Al Newell.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Kathy McDaniel Nicholson of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica Nicholson Duvall (Andy) of Epworth, GA, Nicole Nicholson of Ellijay, GA and Sarah Watkins (Randy) of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, McKenzie Nicholson, Isabella Eads, Kenzie Duvall, Bryer Duvall, Caden Watkins and Noah Watkins; siblings and their spouses, Travis and Brenda Nicholson, Linda Newell, and Brenda and Wayne Elrod; sister-in-law, Peggy Nicholson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
