Mr. Daniel Wesley Ash, age 71, of McCaysville, GA passed away on March 9, 2020 in the North East Georgia Medical Center. He was the son of the late Dellon Ash, Sr. and Mary Bernice Galloway Ash. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Copperhill. Mr. Ash had worked as a gas station attendant for several years and later worked as a bellhop concierge in the Atlanta area hotels. Survivors include his siblings and their spouses, Roger and Maria Ash of Lawrenceville, GA, Thomas and Loretta Ash of Epworth, GA, Dellon, Jr. and Billie Ash of Blue Ridge, Donna and Carl Holcombe and Mary Delince and Jr. Lawrence all of McCaysville, GA; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. followed by the interment in the Galloway Cemetery. A Celebration of Daniel's life will be on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Copperhill with Rev. Tom Reed and Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating.
